More Jamaica

I hit the 1,000 mark for images taken on my trip. I'm posting one of the first images I took -its the one of the wing of the plane. I was so excited about being able to tweet & chat from the plane that I took a shot of my computer with the facebook page displayed. The people are treating me very well here. I have been taking pictures of people since I walked out of the airport.

Wednesday

Meet Miss Lauren Chen

This is my friend Michael Chen the photographer's daughter Lauren. She has been my favorite subject in Jamaica. She is very photogenic, but has a VERY SHORT attention Span! (Well she is only 6-so I should not expect much more) David Turner told me a few weeks ago that you can figure the attention span of child based on their age. He said multiply their age by 2 and thats how many minutes you can plan to get out of them. She is a future super star - look out for her.

Monday

Jamaica is GrEaT! I am enjoying my stay. The people are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and the weather is fabulous. Thought I'd share a few of the many pictures I've taken.
I am able to post thanks to Mr. Michael Chen, whose photograph & studio shots I will post later. He is allowing me to use his internet access with my laptop. I can not afford the $8 for 60 minutes wireless fee from the CyberHut close to my hotel. Lots of great images to come. Stay tuned!

Sunday

My very first blog! I am going to Blog, Tweet, and update Facebook about my Spring Break in Jamaica. My posts will all be photography & school related. If you want to hear any of the personal details-hit me up when I return. I'd also like to say ThAnKs to my wonderful classmates, Sabrina & Rich for picking me up @ 1:30 a.m. and driving me to Logan for this flight(which I am 2 hours early for!) I also want to say thanks to Hilary Rosa for spending her entire day with me photographing our 1st Bat-Mitzvah. We had great fun, met lots of nice people, and made memories that will last us a lifetime.
