Another fabulous newborn session. I am beginning to focus more of my attention on the newborn, infant, and child market. Look for BIG things from the Babies in the new year!
Monday
Ethan & Elijah
Newborn twin session. What a treat! I had such a wonderful time photographing 8 day old Ethan and Elijah. The session went well-but with newborns, how could it go any other way! Congrats to the very blessed parents of these delightful bundles!
Friday
Another Sensational Senior Session
A few weeks a go I photographed Courtney, a super senior at Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama. Courtney was such a joy to shoot. I've known Courtney and his family for many years, but had not seen Courtney since his 4th birthday party. He has grown into a very outgoing and responsible young man. He was just recently accepted to the University of Alabama, where he plans to study engineering. Congratulations Courtney and best wishes on a bright future!
Joshua's Baptism
Sunday, October 10, 2010- 10/10/10, the day of two year old Joshua's baptism. Joshua was truly dressed for the occasion. With his mother, older brother, aunt & uncle, and lots of fellow church members looking on, Joshua was baptized at The Church of the Apostle in Atlanta, GA. We tried to kill several birds with a single stone by photographing the ceremony, making family portraits, as well as portraits of Joshua. All and all, I think things turned out swell, considering we were working with a two year old dressed in all white who just wanted to play. It was a great morning!
Wednesday
Wedding Wednesdays: Claudette & Byron
I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of one of my closest friends on August 29, 2009. She went with a traditional southern wedding at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Smiths, AL; followed by a very elegant and festive reception at the Liberty Theater in Columbus, GA. The ceremony was just gorgeous and the reception was a blast. They shared a most memorable first dance-followed by lots and lots of dancing! It was such a treat to photograph and spend time with people I care so much about. Congratulations on your first wedding anniversary "Purple"!
Sunday

Thursday
Wedding Wednesday on Thursday! Melanie & Jesse
I've fallen a little behind on my blogging(again)- A special thanks to my friend and classmate Betsy Carroll, who reminded me that yesterday was Wedding Wednesday! So here's to you B.C.!
An outdoor wedding in Alabama in August can only mean one thing-True Love! And that's exactly what we witnessed on August 21st in Opelika, AL. The happy couple had a very short(but sweet) outdoor ceremony followed by a very lavish ballroom reception; both taking place at the Marriott Grand National Golf Resort. This was my first post graduation wedding & I tried to use the many skills I learned at Hallmark, along with my past wedding experiences. It was a very lovely event, well planned by a very sweet and professional planner, Julie Bunkley. A very special thanks to Contessa Franklin for the referral & Vanice Burton for being a wonderful assistant. Congratulations Melanie and Jesse!
