Thursday

The Round House

We had our first of on location with Gregory Heisler and David Turner classes. We visited a very nice Round House, in Leyton. The place was spectacular and offered us all a great learning experience. A super big thanks to Sara for being a wonderful model & to Greg and David for all the wonderful knowledge!

Spring(y) Shoots

The weather here right now is beautiful, which makes for beautiful outdoor portraits. I had the opportunity to do down to Longmeadow and photograph relatives of the very first family I blogged about. The family in these shots attend the Bat-Mitzvah I shot and blogged about back in March. Most of the shots were taken on location outside of their beautiful home. They were very accommodating and super photogenic. Thanks for a great evening of shooting!

Wednesday

Busy in the commercial studio!!!!

So last night I decided I'd spend sometime in the commercial studio. At times its one of my favorite places, and at others- I'd rather be any other place but there! Last night was great! I got 3 shots that I really like -(now I just have to share them with my instructors). If anything-I have some good starts and can always go back in and make revisions!

Tuesday

Double A-Day

This past weekend in my hometown & State, two very important universities(Auburn University & The University of Alabama) held their annual A-Day Spring football games. I missed them both-but read lots of posts from friends and families who attended one or the other. So in honor of A-day I present to you Alanna & Aiden, two very adorable children I met having lunch at Friendly's last week. They came into the studio on Friday and boy did we have a time! It was very enjoyable and I learned a lot. As you can see from the pictures, Alanna(4), less of a challenge than Aiden(9 months).

Wednesday

Let the Weddings Begin!

With the arrival of Spring, we welcome in the weddings. Beautiful bride-to-be Heather, came into the studio to have engagement shots done with her wonderful fiance John. She also did her pre-wedding bridal shoot. With their wedding just weeks away the excitement was overflowing between the happy couple.

Saturday

Harley

Yesterday I had my first pet portrait sitting. It was a ton of fun. I have to say a special thanks to Beth Reynold, Documentary Photographer and Hallmark Instructor. She instantly bonded with Harley, the 9 week old Bull Mastif, and was the best assistant! She can be seen above loving on Harley!

Thursday

Miles The Rock Star

Today was a real treat in & out of the studio. My special guest was My Little Buddy Miles! We had an awesome time. He wants all his fans to know that he loves watermelon, hot wheels, & watching other people be tickled! Miles you are the best!

Wednesday

I am super excited about my upcoming Portrait event in Opelika, Alabama @ the Marriott Auburn Opelika Hotel & Conference Center at Grand National. For those of you in the area- book an appointment and come out and support your homegirl!

Saturday

My new friends Natalie and Jason

Today I had the pleasure of photographing my classmate Karen's grandchildren, Jason and Natalie. They were great models and wonderful children. As a reward for being so splendid, we all went to Friendly's for ice cream following our shoot. Thanks Karen for all you do!
